Rugby Weekend

Tom had the best cheering section at his rugby games this weekend.

Birthday Dinner the Second

Hav got me a free birthday dinner at Tucanos so we went out and enjoyed. The meat was good but the best part of the meal was the grilled pineapple and the guava juice.

Valentine's Day in Boise

While in Boise, we went on a walk. Avery and Aidan took their punch balls that they got from my mom.

We went to check out the animals at the Johnson's. They've always got something different. I remember the ostriches when I was younger. This time they had animals that seemed more 'farmish' : goats and mules.

I think that Lucy is enjoying being mobile. She was pretty intrigued by Moose.

February Craziness

February was insane with work. I had parent teacher conferences, the Jazz Read-a-thon, our fifth grade wax museum, my principal evaluation, the direct writing assessment, a collaboration presentation, etc. This was all in addition to teaching the core. I'm glad that March hasn't been quite as crazy.

Weekend Birthday

I'm 26 now but still feel like I am 25 mode. I was on the exercise bike typing in my weight and age and definitely typed in 25. Maybe I'll get used to 26 soon. My birthday was pretty fantastic this year. The worst part was having to write my principal evaluation lesson plan at 8am on my birthday. I also failed at taking pictures. Sorry.

3. Getting in an hour of bike riding

4. Opening Nick and Lachelle's gift which was full of their favorite recipes!!! I'm excited to start cooking more.

5. The delicious salmon that Natalie made

6. Checking out Goose Girl on tape from the library

7. Seeing Lucy crawl for the first time

8. Eating smoothies instead of birthday cake- yes, I will get my weight loss goals

9. Talking to Nick, Christy, and Steph on the phone

Lunch with The House Ladies

All of the girls that I lived with in The House during summer 2007 got together at Cafe Rio for a reunion of sorts. We have all gone a lot of directions in the last 2.5 years but we all still live in Utah (for now). It was fun to see everyone. I've got some pretty great friends.
