Crystal Moleni was my trainer and she was pretty much amazing. I found this video the other day of her and Bay singing a song Crystal wrote. They are singing in the Pakkret chapel at a moves meeting. Enjoy.

Retreat in Cascade

Our relief society went to Cascade last weekend. It was a lot more fun than I was expecting despite my ridiculous cold. The best part for me was my early morning walk alone. I had forgotten how much I love nature.

Thailand and Cambodia

In two-ish months, I will be in Thailand as will Ashley and family as well as my family. Now that we have tickets, the question is WHAT DO WE WANT TO DO? I'm accumulating ideas. Here is one thing that we definitely must see and do. It is called the ancient city. One of the best things about is that you get to ride bikes and everything is mini-sized. It is right outside of Bangkok. This link will give a little bit more information about it. If you are going to be in Thailand with me, please comment and let me know if this sounds fun to you.

Here are a couple of pictures that I took while I was there in 2006.

Great Weekend- Not So Great Pictures

My pictures from Easter weekend aren't that great but I haven't posted in a while so I figured I would share. This top picture is of Avery and me dyeing Easter eggs.
I'm practicing my photography skills. This daffodil picture was taken early evening. It turned out pretty good light-wise but the bags in the background are sort of distracting.
In this shot I was working on the focus. I've got lots of practicing to do with focus.
I spent 20 minutes one night taking pictures of our salad. This is the best one I got.

Avery's Page

Avery helped me make this scrapbook page. She chose the colors, the picture, the embellishments, and the positions of everything. She did a great job.

Skiing With Krista

Krista and I went skiing on March 5. She is an employee of Bogus Basin so we both got to go for free. Because it was a Wednesday and everyone was at school, there was hardly anyone on the slopes. The snow was really great and the weather was good. I could have gone without a hat and gloves. Yea for spring skiing!I couldn't find any goggles at our house so I had to use my HUGE sunglasses.
Krista rented boots. The guy at the ski shop mocked the microskis. I felt like white trash. It was a proud moment.
You may not believe it, but this is not a flat surface. This is the bunny hill. Krista was learning how to ski so we spent a lot of time of the bunny hill.
That is me being awesome on the bunny hill.
