Havilah and I went snowshoeing near Donut Falls on New Year's Eve. The avalanche risk was pretty high so we decided to go to a high traffic area. It was a beautiful day. 17 inches of snow had fallen the day before so the snow was perfect.
On the trail, remembering how hard snowshoeing is on my lungs.
