Boise Art Museum
Sometime in June, Mom and I made it to the Boise Art Museum. The cardboard art exhibit was my favorite. This is the only proof that we went because my battery died before I could get more pictures.
Thai Food
Making Thai food is so much easier when you have multiple hands working, a lot of space, and a meat slicer. The food turned out pretty good this time. Next time, I'm going to make red curry.

Nam Tok- We grilled the beef, then used the meat slicer to slice it. It was really good but next time I want to try and marinade the beef first to see if that adds to the flavor.

Pad Krapow Gai- This is quickly becoming one of my favorite dishes to make because it is really easy and the basil makes it taste so good.

Books
I haven't had a book to read this summer. I finally got to the library today. I'm now in feast mode as far as books are concerned.
My current reads are:
Toby Alone by Timothee de Fombelle
Going Up The River by Joseph Hallinan
Love That Dog by Sharon Creech
Leon and the Champion Chip by Allen Kurzwell
Ruby Holler by Sharon Creech
Where to begin?

My Publisher
Thanks to Susan for introducing me to mypublisher.com. I used to scrapbook a lot but in the past few years haven't had much desire to devote time to scrapbooking. I have tons of mission pictures but the idea of trying to scrapbook them all is really overwhelming, so I have made two photo books with mypublisher.com in the past week. I got my first book today and it turned out awesome!

Rediscover Boise
In an attempt to not bore myself this summer, I am trying to take advantage of the things that Boise has to offer. Today was the Idaho Historical Museum. It was pretty interesting. I think that my two favorite exhibits were the Chinese prescription shop and the exhibit on Darfur. I also walked through the Rose Garden. Next time I go somewhere, I will take my camera.

Summer is Here
The last day of school was May 29. I cleaned my classroom, moved out of my apartment, and I am now in Boise for the summer. I am looking forward to a summer of fun.
So far I have signed up for the YMCA, and started tearing down wallpaper in the small laundry room bathroom.
I'm also doing the Triathlon in Emmett on August 8. Who wants to join me?
I'll keep everyone posted on my adventures this summer.
