I was excited to leave work early and go to Boulder City, NV with Jessica to visit Megan, Blaine, and baby Nolan. Of course I couldn't completely leave school behind though. I took the above picture at Boulder Dam to show my students that magnets really are used in real life. I also took tons of pictures of the geology down there. I'm such a teacher. This sign also shows what has happened post 9-11.

I think I went to Boulder Dam when I was 10 or so but my Mom would have to verify that one.

Nolan sees Boulder Dam for the first time.

So tall.

In two places at once. I love that many states have boundaries in the middle of rivers.

I had my first In N Out experience in Henderson. The burger was pretty good but the fries weren't very impressive to my taste buds.

We played a long game of Phase 10 on Sunday night. Megan was victorious.

We ended with breakfast at the Boulder Dam Hotel. I love my friends.

Nolan is pretty much adorable.
We tried out our football skills in the park. It was pretty awful, but fun.
Thanks Megan for letting us come visit you!
