Other Photographed Boise Adventures

Krista and I went out to lunch at Red Robin. I don't get to see her often enough.
I purchased this leather carving while on my mission. My dad helped me build the frame last summer. I stained it over Christmas. I finally got it framed while in Boise. I am excited to get it up on a wall!
Steph got married!! The sealing was beautiful and she was all smiles. I'm happy she is moving back to Utah.

My parents are going to redo the floors in our house. Before anything could be done with the floors, the wall between the kitchen and family room needed to be torn down. I happily volunteered. Demolition is as much fun as I thought it would be.

Boise, you were kind to me. I will come visit you again.

Greek Food Festival

Havilah was passing through Boise on her way to Oregon for the summer. We ate at the Greek food festival downtown in the pouring rain. Thank goodness for tents.

Bike Ride

I decided to go for a bike ride. I left my house at about noon.

Pre-embarkment.

A little before Veteran's Park.

My dad's mountain bike.

I originally intended to stop at Julia Davis Park, but it was such a beautiful day. I decided to keep going to the Shakespeare Festival building. By then, I decided I was so close to Lucky Peak that I might as well go all the way to Sandy Point. By this picture, I was feeling ready to turn around but resolved to make it all the way.

Almost there.

Taken at Sandy Point. Not looking forward to the trip back.

These flowers along the greenbelt brightened my bike ride considerably.

Memorial Day

Grandma and Grandpa Rasmussen, Todd and Dree, Mom, Me, and Sylvia headed out to Emmett to visit Great-Grandpa Hunt's grave as well as some other family members.

Going our separate ways

I think the last time that all of my freshman roommates were together was at Megan's wedding three years ago. We've tried a few times to get together since then but never managed to get everyone there. Susan is going to Moldova for two years and so we decided to get together one last time because it is not likely we'll be in Utah when she returns. Unfortunately Steph wasn't able to come this time and she was definitely missed. Like I always say, I got really lucky my freshman year of college to have amazing roommates. I consider them to be some of my best friends in the world.

Tulips

Jessica and I went out to dinner then wandered over to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. The weather was windy and cold but the tulips were gorgeous. Someday when I actually own a house, I will plant tulips.
